The Ocala Open will be the largest charity golf event in Marion County in 2008,
encompassing local business support and including the talent of some of the world’s
best golfers.

This event will showcase Ocala as a great place not only to visit and have fun, but
to live and work. Sponsorship of the Ocala Open allows you to make a difference in our
community while promoting your organization to residents, visitors and spectators.

Candler Hills Golf Club at On Top of the World Communities is providing the venue to highlight some of the world’s best men’s professional golfers while benefiting local charities Interfaith Emergency Services and the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women in Marion County.

In addition to the professional tournament, we are hosting a Pro-Am event that will give amateur golfers an opportunity to play with professional golfers and enjoy an evening of dinner and entertainment. The Pro-Am is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 and will kick off the 2008 Ocala Open to be held March 12 through March 14, 2008.
