The Ocala Open will be the largest charity golf event in Marion County in 2011,
encompassing local business support and including the talent of some of the world’s
best golfers.
This event showcases Ocala as a great place not only to visit and have fun, but to
live and work. Sponsorship of the Ocala Open allows you to make a difference in our community while promoting your organization to residents, visitors and spectators.
Candler Hills Golf Club at On Top of the World Communities is providing the venue to highlight some of the world’s best men’s professional golfers while benefitting the
local charities, Hospice of Marion County, Inc. and Interfaith Emergency Services.
In addition to the professional tournament, we are hosting a Pro-Am event that will
give amateur golfers an opportunity to play with professional golfers. The Pro-Am is scheduled for Tuesday, March 15 and will kick off the 2011 Ocala Open to be held March 16 through March 18, 2011.
We invite you to be a part of this exciting event that will continue to grow and benefit our community in the years to come. Your organization will be highlighted according to your level of sponsorship in the event materials, on the official tournament site, and on www.FloridaProfessionalGolfTour.org, as well as through publicity and in other advertising throughout the state. As a participant this year,you will be offered first right of refusal at the same level of sponsorship next year as the Ocala Open grows in notoriety.
